Description

Streamlining processes and increasing efficiency are among the goals outlined in the UCI Strategic Plan. Process improvement is also one of the identified areas of opportunity for UCI for the next couple of years, based on the results from the GALLUP engagement survey last fall. Building a culture of continuous process improvement is key to long-term organizational success.

The session will introduce participants to the continuous process improvement program in the Division of Finance and Administration, including highlights and key metrics about its Lean Six Sigma White Belt and Yellow Belt courses and initiatives. Attendees will get a chance to collaborate and practice continuous improvement skills through an interactive small group exercise, watch a short video on the topic, and engage in a debrief discussion about lessons learned and key takeaways.
