DUE - Student Success Initiatives
Description

This session will focus on the work of the Student Success Initiatives office that works closely with very specific student populations such as; former foster youth, students with dependents, undocumented students, diverse transfer populations, and first generation and low-income students. These efforts are not made in isolation, but in tandem with campus partners and resources. This interactive panel will share data on our unique student populations and will discuss what types of academic and social support are integrated in our programing. Presenters will discuss how they actively work together and leverage campus resources to provide our students with holistic support. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with Student Success Initiatives professionals and ask critical questions that impact our student populations. It takes a village to raise young hearts and minds, the more connected we are the higher chances of success they will have.
